This week’s scripture from 1 John speaks to us: “See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and that is what we are.”
This Sunday is All Saints Sunday. If you would like for a name or names to be included in our prayers for the deceased that day, please let the office know by tomorrow at noon. Sunday’s worship will also include a Healing Liturgy.
We will also have a reception following the 10 am service to honor Dr. Pam Harris, who has been our organist for the past eight years. You are invited to help with our gifts to her: 1) by bringing food for the reception (sign up in the Narthex) and/or 2) sending a monetary gift towards her “purse” (clearly marked for Pam) made out to the church. We will compile those monetary gifts into one check from the church made out to Pam.
Community SING! led by Sarah Tullock is Thursday at 7:00 pm. Chuck Nix will provide a Carillon Prelude beginning at 6:40 pm, and there is a “Name That Tune” quiz if you wish to participate! Please join us and invite family, friends and neighbors!
Our November ROTA is attached. It is also on our website, and a printed copy is in the Narthex.
