Cindy Solfest-Wallis June 30, 2026

This week’s scripture from Matthew 11 speaks to us: “Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”

The office will be closed Friday, July 3 in observance of Independence Day.

A huge thank you to Doug Deal, Greg Love and Ryan DeHooge for their work shoveling and leveling the playground mulch!

Please remember our Celebration of Independence Day will be on July 4 at 2 pm with the ringing of the Carillon 13 times for the 13 original colonies.  We will have prayer for the day.   Then Carol Woody will give a concert on the Carillon for the 4th.  We will have frozen treats and lemonade for all who come.

We received an email yesterday announcing that The Reverend Shelley Martin is the new Priest-in-Charge at the Church of the Nativity in Fort Oglethorpe beginning July 1.  For those who didn’t know, she and Jonathon Grimes were married this spring.

We will again bring dinner to residents of Hosanna Community on Tuesday, July 21.  Please contact Gay Moore at gaymoore@comcast.net for more information.

Please see attached ROTA for July 2026.

The scammers are at it again!  Some of you may have received an email from pastormail33892@gmail.com or a similar address.  Please do not respond, as this is definitely NOT from Lou or the office.  See attached information on recognizing phishing emails as well as reporting phishing emails or texts.
