The funeral for Douglas Tye Daugherty will be here at St. Francis on Thursday, June 4, at 11:30 am. The family will be receiving from 10:00 – 11:30 am in the Parish Hall. If you are able to assist with the reception and/or bring food, please contact Elaine Peters-Gannon at 423-314-1202. Burial is at 1:30 pm at Grace Episcopal Church.
Lou is on vacation through June 3. Deacon John+ will be taking all pastoral care calls.
Our Annual BBQ is this Sunday. We will have a Healing Liturgy and we will celebrate our Graduates as well. If you have a graduate in your family but have not signed up in the Narthex, please let the office know by tomorrow at noon.
There will also be a Diamond Dot art class taught by Cindy Osborne this Sunday during the BBQ in Classroom B. All are welcome!
Wednesday evening worship and Bible Study will resume next Wednesday, June 10.
Since we will have a Healing Service this Sunday, we would like to update our current prayer lists. Please review the attached Short Term and Long Term Prayer Lists and let us know of those who need to be added, those who can be removed, etc. (Generally people on Short Term are moved to Long Term after 4-6 weeks, and those on Long Term are moved off after a year).
