Collegedale Parks & Recreation will host a special community remembrance program on Friday, September 11, 2026, commemorating the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.
The program, titled “We Remember 25 Years of Honor, Courage & Unity,” will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. inside Founders Hall at The Commons, located at 4750 Swinyar Drive in Collegedale. The community is invited to join together to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, honor the courage and sacrifice of first responders and military members, and reflect on the strength and unity that emerged in the aftermath of the tragedy. Lou has been invited to give the Invocation at this event.
